Safari Kenya and Tanzania Lodge Holidays: Maasai Mara,Lake Nakuru,Amboseli,Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Tsavo West, Tsavo East Lodge Safari. Visit the Kenyan coastal beach for holiday enjoying the serene, the azure water of the Indian Ocean and the white sandy beaches.
Arrival in Nairobi, where you’re met and transferred to Panafric hotel on bed & breakfast basis.
After breakfast we depart for the world-famous Masai Mara game reserve, driving through the picturesque Rift Valley, with its awe-inspiring vistas. Game viewing as we enter the park on our way to Mara Sopa lodge for lunch. After lunch we’re out for our first game drive proper, looking out for lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, gazelle, bongo, cheetah, leopard, rhino and other plains game. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
The whole day is dedicated to game spotting in the reserve, which is the natural extension of the famous Serengeti national park in northern Tanzania. Optional excursions here include a visit to a Masai Village or a hot-air balloon ride that lifts off at 0600hrs and winds up with a Champagne breakfast right on the plains. What an exhilarating and unforgettable moment!. All meals and overnight at the lodge.
After breakfast we leave for Lake Nakuru national park, world-famous for its concentration of millions of pink flamingoes. After lunch we’re out for game viewing. Common spots here include waterbuck, leopard, buffalo, eland, Rothschild giraffe, bushbuck, gazelle, etc. We’ll also visit the Rhino Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight in Lake Nakuru lodge, overlooking the lake.
After breakfast we depart for Amboseli national park, driving leisurely up the Rift Valley escarpment with its breath-taking panoramas. Lunch will be at the famous Nairobi Carnivore restaurant, renowned for its succulent grilled steaks, including game meat. After lunch we continue to Amboseli, game viewing as we enter the park. Dinner and overnight in Kibo safari camp, overlooking Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest in Africa.
Early breakfast and depart for the Kenya – Tanzania border, with game tracking en route. Weather permitting; we can spot the snows of Mt. Kilimanjaro. We drop off at Namanga border where we exchange vehicles. You’ll proceed to Arusha for lunch, after which you’ll continue to Lake Manyara national park. Short stop at Mto wa Mbu for a picturesque view of the local market. Continue to Lake Manyara, game viewing as you enter the park. Tree climbing lions are one of the main attractions here. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara hotel.
After breakfast you depart for the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, arriving in time for lunch at Ngorongoro Wildlife lodge. A four-wheel drive vehicle will take you 670 meters down to the crater floor for game viewing. Known as “Africa’s Garden of Eden”, these 160 km2 of plains, wooded slopes and small lakes offer a wide variety of game. The lakeshores are largely occupied by flamingos as well as hippos. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast we proceed to Serengeti, game spotting as we enter the park. There’s a spectacular concentration of game here, including the “Big Five”, i.e. elephant, lion, rhino, leopard and buffalo. The park is also noted for the massive migration to Masai Mara of wildebeest and zebra. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Wildlife lodge.
Morning game drive in the park, after which you depart for Arusha town. Overnight will be at Ilboru Safari lodge on bed & breakfast basis.
After breakfast you’re transferred to the Kenya – Tanzania border of Taveta, from where we pick you up and proceed to Tsavo national park, the largest in Kenya. This park is divided into two, East and West by the Mombasa / Nairobi highway. We check in and lunch at Ngulia safari lodge. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
After breakfast we drive to Tsavo East, arriving at Voi Wildlife lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon we’re out for game viewing, looking out for lion, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, gerenuk, gazelle and large herds of elephant. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Early morning game drives in the park to watch the predators on the hunt and other animals as they drink at the water holes. After breakfast we leave for Mombassa, game viewing en route. We arrive at our coastal resort, Whitesand Beach Resort on half board basis.
Two full days at Whitesand Beach Resort, where optional excursions will be proposed by our representative: Mombassa city tour, one day to historic Malindi including Gede ruins, Village tour to see how the locals live, a romantic evening Dhow cruise with dinner and music on board, Son et Lumiere at the historic Fort Jesus, etc.
Depending on your departure flight, we’ll transfer you to Moi international airport.
