Days Amboseli / Maasia Mara / Lake Nakuru / Lake Baringo / Aberdares Wildlife Safari.
Safari Kenya Lodge Holidays: Amboseli, Mara, lake Nakuru, Lake Baringo, Aberdares Lodge Safari.
Day 1: – Nairobi / Amboseli
Arrive in Nairobi and depart to Amboseli national park on the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest point in Africa – Overnight: Kibo Safari Camp or similar.
Day 2: – Amboseli
Whole day game tracking in Amboseli national park. Early morning you’ll spot the eternal snows of Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting). Game here includes elephant, lion, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, hippo, gazelle, etc. All meals and overnight at Kibo Safari Camp or similarr.
Day 3: – Amboseli / Masai Mara
Breakfast and leave for Masai Mara, with lunch at the famous Nairobi Carnivore Restaurant, famous for its succulent steaks, including game meat. Continue to Mara, game viewing as you enter the park. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa lodge or similar.
Day 4: – Masai Mara
The whole day is dedicated to game spotting in the Mara, which is the natural extension of Serengeti national park in northern Tanzania, where the annual migration of millions of herbivores, followed by their predators takes place (Aug – Oct). The ‘Big Five” (elephant, buffalo, rhino, lion and leopard) are common spots here. Option of a hot-air balloon safari that takes off at 06h00 and ends with a Champagne breakfast on the plains. What an unforgettable and exhilarating experience! All meals and overnight at: Mara Sopa lodge or similar.
Day 5: – Masai Mara / Lake Nakuru
After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru national park, famous for its millions of resident pink flamingos. Afternoon game viewing around the lake and a visit to the Rhino sanctuary. All meals and overnight at Lake Nakuru lodge or similar.
Day 6: – Lake Nakuru / Lake Baringo
Breakfast and depart for Lake Baringo, arriving at Lake Baringo Club for lunch. Afternoon boat ride on the lake. Dinner and overnight at Lake Baringo Club.
Day 7: -- Lake Baringo / Aberdares
Breakfast and depart for the Aberdares national park, arriving at Outspan hotel for lunch. Afternoon transfer to the famous Treetops hotel for dinner and overnight. This is a “tree hotel” where you observe animals from your balcony / verandah as they come to drink at the water hole.
Day 8: – Aberdares / Nairobi
After breakfast depart for Nairobi, with lunch in a city restaurant. Afternoon free, when you can profit from some of our optional excursions. Evening transfer to the airport for your home bound flight and where the safari ends.
